As well as hinting that a fully-fledged next-gen WipeOut will shortly be confirmed for release in 2008, Sony intends to follow up its PSP racer with a console-specific download re-make. The game is said to include online multiplayer.
An official announcement is expected in August, or possibly at next month’s E3.
