Wired Xbox One controller for PCs revealed

Microsoft is to release a wired version of its Xbox One controller for use with PCs.

It’s called the Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows and is due out in November. It has an SRP of $59.95 in the US. A UK price has yet to be announced.

It will be compatible with both Windows 8 and Windows 7 and will install automatically when plugged into USB.

The peripheral will work with Xbox Ones too, incidentally.

The existing wireless Xbox One controller is already compatible with PCs for those with the required wireless receiver.
