XBLA hits heading to retail

Three of the most popular XBLA titles will no longer be download-only come April.

Microsoft has confirmed that a triple pack containing Limbo, Trials HD and Splosion Man will be coming to retail, according to Gamasutra. The pack was first spotted on Amazon.

The compilation will be released in the US on April 19th for $29.99 – $10 less than it would cost to download the three titles separately. It will also include 160 Microsoft Points and a 48-hour trial membership for Xbox Live Gold.

Microsoft previously released Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Vol.1 in 2006, which brought six titles to retail, including Geometry Wars and Bejeweled 2. Several other publishers have also released retail compilations of titles available on XBLA, such as Sega’s Dreamcast Collection and Mastertronic’s PopCap Hits Vol1.1 and 2.

More recently, Microsoft announced a deal with GAME to sell individual digital titles at retail via cards.
