Retail will not be receiving a standalone version of Microsoft’s new Xbox 360 250GB hard drive, the platform holder’s community head Larry Hyrb has confirmed in a trailer currently available on Xbox Live.
Those wishing to get their hands on the higher capacity model will need to invest in either the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 bundle or the Forza 3 bundle announced this morning.
The Forza pack has been priced at 249.99. Whether the Call of Duty pack will carry a higher RRP, owing both the limited edition console and the higher price of Activision’s game, is yet to be seen.
The current 120GB Xbox 360 hard drive remains available as a standalone purchase for 120 in the UK.
