Xbox exploring 24-hour free game trials

Xbox One users taking part in the console’s latest software beta have revealed that Microsoft is testing free game trials.

The feature will let gamers download a digital game and play them for 24 hours, for free.

Max The Curse of Brotherhood was among the games available to download under the label entitled Free Play Day with Gold.

Xbox said an official announcement on the feature will be announced shortly.

The Free Play Day with Gold will join the Games with Gold offering, which makes two Xbox One titles free to download each month to Gold subscribers.
