Over two million subscribers are now signed up to Microsoft’s Xbox Live service, the company has revealed.
Things are looking promising for Xbox 360’s online service with the current generation service having added one million new subscribers since this time last year.
“Reaching the two million member milestone in such a short time speaks volumes about the depth and vibrancy of the Xbox Live community,” said Xbox boss Robbie Bach (pictured).
“This enormous growth is a true testament to the compelling content and engaging experiences enabled through Xbox Live today.”
Xbox owners have more online content to look forward this Christmas, from Activision’s Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, LucasArts’ Star Wars Battlefront II and EA’s Battlefield 2, with all Live accounts transferable to the Xbox 360 service when the console arrives later this year.
