Microsoft’s Xbox One S officially arrived in the UK this week, but tracking one down can currently be quite a challenge.
The 2TB version is out of stock at the likes of Amazon, GAME, ShopTo and GameStop. And as a result prices on sites like eBay have rocketed.
The machine has recently sold on the auction site for prices as high as £565, while several auctions have closed at prices ranging from £370-£500.
Prices on Amazon from third party sellers, meanwhile, currently start at £499.99. The most expensive one listed at the time of writing is priced at £650.
The 2TB Xbox One S has an RRP of £349.99.
It’s not clear how well stocked the channel was in the first place. Nor is it clear when fresh stock of the 2TB machine will arrive. We haven’t yet been given release dates for the cheaper 1TB (£300) or 500GB (£250) versions, either.
It was revealed earlier this week that the new machine offers a slight performance boost over existing models, leading to higher framerates in some games.
