Video site YouTube has backed the Golden Joystick Awards and is even putting its name to a new category.
The YouTube gamer award recognises the best gaming creators on YouTube.Nominees include channels Yogscast, The Syndicate Project, Total Biscuit, AtheneWins, Matroix and InTheLittleWood.
Voting for The YouTube Gamer Award is now open and can be done by visitingThe Golden Joystick Awards YouTube channel
YouTube will also live stream the ceremony on its website for fans to watch.
The HMV GamesMaster Gold Joystick Awards is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The Joystick Awards take place on October 26th at the Westminster Bridge Park Plaza.
