Zavvi grabs Metal Gear Solid HD worldwide exclusive

Online retailer Zavvi has grabbed a tasty Metal Gear Solid HD worldwide exclusive.

For £69.85 consumers can now pre-order what is being called the Metal Gear Solid: Ultimate HD Collection for PS3. Only 4,000 copies are going be made available worldwide, the retailer claims.

And there’s certainly no way anyone could claim they’re not getting good value for money.

The MGS HD Collection includes HD versions of console hits Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 and formerly PSP-only title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

Zavvi’s exclusive SKU adds to that the full version of PS3 hit Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and a DLC code with which owners can download the first Metal Gear Solid game.

Also included is steelbook packaging and five art cards.

Including all the in-game video footage and that works out to approximately four days of gaming for every 10p spent. Probably.

Zavvi dates the game for November 25th, but it’s official release date remains merely November.

how can you say it's good value for money?
You can pick up all the games for about £48, so you're paying £20 for some art cards and a numbered steelbook.

Saying that, I have ordered one, simply because I know if I don't the value will skyrocket and I'll have missed out!
