The format holder’s devoted section has been set up in Zavvi’s flagship store in Oxford Street, London. The set-up is part of the retailer’s Christmas gaming push – its first since it re-branded and cut ties with former parent Virgin.
“The Nintendo area demonstrates Zavvi’s commitment to games and gives customers a complete games experience,” Patrick Kelly, head of games at Zavvi told MCV.
Once Christmas is over, the retailer will open new stores in Bristol, Liverpool and Belfast.
