Zucker defiant after Midway losses

The firm’s second quarter earnings statement confirms that while the losses continue, revenues were also down year on year, from $36.9m to $25.9m. The publisher expects losses to reduce for the forthcoming quarter, with forecasts currently standing at a shortfall of $23m.

But boss David Zucker stated that he is pleased with the performance of recent PC RTS Rise and Fall, and is confident that Midway can continue in its revival. “We continue to believe that 2007 will show our true potential and the reemergence of Midway as a top tier video game publisher,” he said.
