Adventure Time and Ben 10 games to be made by Outright Games

Outright Games, a UK and US based family entertainment company, has won the rights to produce games for Cartoon Network. These games will be based on the Adventure Time and Ben 10 licences and will be available for PC and console.

The first of these games will be Ben 10 and should be released in Q4 of this year, while Adventure Time will be early 2018. It’s a big deal for Outright Games, given they are relatively new as a company, having starting in 2016. But the team have previously worked on the Adventure Time franchise, along with many other family orientated game licences such as Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda series.

"We’re very pleased to announce our partnership with Cartoon Network with Adventure Time and Ben 10,which we believe will be the first of many quality titles coming soon from us,” said CEO of Outright Games, Terry Malham. “We’re a family business with a passion for creating fantastic family entertainment, and we know our collaboration with Cartoon Network, combined with our expertise and ability to make great games will mean we can bring fun brands we love to gamers around the world."

The Ben 10 franchisehad taken a long break from gaming with the last titile, Ben 10: Omniverse 2, being released in 2013 on the last console generation. Adventure Time however has seen a very rapid growth, much like its popularity with four major console releases, tie-ins to LittleBigPlanet 3 and Lego Dimensions, as well as a virtual reality game last year.
