Amazing Spider-Man 2 here to stay on Xbox One and 360

Microsoft has confirmed that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is now officially available on both Xbox consoles in the US.

The game appeared digitally on Xbox Live yesterday – that’s despite being delayed indefinitely earlier this month for reasons that were never revealed.

Activision said at the time that it was working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One”.

Microsoft’s Major Nelson has now confirmed that the digital release (for $59.99 on Xbox One and $49.99 on 360) alongside the game’s arrival on all other platforms in the US yesterday was no glitch.

There’s no confirmation yet that we’ll see the same in the UK this week when the game is officially released on Friday (May 2nd).

The UK Xbox Live store has a listing for the game on Xbox 360 with no price, but the Xbox One version is still MIA.

MCV has contacted Activision for clarification.
