Broforce meets The Expendables 3 in free-to-play The Expendabros

Upcoming film sequel The Expendables 3 and Steam Early Access title Broforce have crossed over to form a new free-to-play title by the name of The Expendabros, publisher Devolver Digital has announced.

IGN reports the expand-alone content is currently available to download for free on Steam, but will only be available on Valve’s digital storefront for the remainder of this year.

The game features "Bro-ified" versions of characters from the film, along with ten new missions based on themes from the movie.

"The Expendabros have assembled and set their sights on the forces of ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks in the forests of Eastern Europe," Devolver Digital said.

"Battle in a flurry of bullets and non-stop action through ten full-throttle missions set amongst the picturesque tree tops and the absurdly dangerous lumber mills teeming with enemy soldiers, excessive artillery, and inconveniently placed circular saws."

Broforce is currently available on Windows PC as a Steam Early Access title, with a full release planned for later this year on PS4, PS Vita, PC and Mac platforms. Here’s a look at The Expendabros trailer:
