Bruno Senna backs System 3 racer

Veteran publisher System 3 is bringing new racer Absolute Supercars to retail with the help of Bruno Senna.

The F1 driver and nephew of the late Ayrton Senna has helped hone the car handling in Absolute Supercars, which is due to arrive on PS3 at the end of May.

The title is developed by UK racing studio Eutechnyx.

This is the fourth game we’ve worked on with Eutechnyx, a team we consider one of the best racing studios in the world,” System 3 boss Mark Cale told MCV.

They have a lot of talent in crafting some of the best racing experiences, and we’ve enjoyed a very close relationship with the team over the past five years.”

As well as Bruno Senna helping with the game’s development, there are also in-game voiceovers from TV car pundit Tiff Needell.

System 3 has a long history of working with Bruno,” added Cale. He worked closely with us during the development of Absolute Supercars and his involvement was instrumental in getting the cars feeling just right.

Bruno also worked on the handling and general feel of every car in Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. His involvement is part of the reason why the game is still regarded as the most accurate console racing sim.”

Senna has also helped System 3 promote Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli at a press event for journalists.

System 3 celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
