LGF offers support for smaller activities that wish to operate under its â??fringeâ?? umbrella

Call for â??fringeâ?? events at LGF

Organisers of the London Games Festival are inviting people to get involved with the event as part of a set of ‘fringe’ activities.

Those who want to organise their own events – such as seminars, street games, performances or exhibitions – under the London Games Festival Fringe umbrella will be supported by LGF through online and print promotion, marketing support, partnerships and venue space.

Events taking part in the ‘fringe’ scheme so far include Play/Time Game Lab – a week long seminar to developing new concepts and ideas, Sense of Play – a game design symposium, and Head Trauma – a virtual reality game.

Those who wish to be involved should contact toby.barnes@londongamesfringe.com.

The London Games festival runs from October 22nd to the 26th.
