Deux Ex: Mankind Divided suffers six-month delay to August 2016

Square Enix’s upcoming cyberpunk sequel Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed by six months for ‘quality’ reasons.

That’s the news from head of studio at developer Eidos Montreal, David Anfossi, who announced that the game’s February 23rd launch would now take place on August 23rd next year.

We’re confident and proud of the game so far,” Anfossi wrote.

However, as we are now playing through the game in full we can see that it will require more time in post-production for tuning, iterations and refinement to meet our high standards.”

This game is a huge part of our lives, and we don’t want to compromise on its quality.”
