New IPs battle it out, plus art and audio prizes - Limbo, Kinect Sports, Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm lead the pack

DEVELOP AWARDS 2011: Creativity finalists

Best-selling European made games are battling it out in the Develop Awards’ Creativity category.

Much desired awards including New IP, Visual Arts and Audio Accomplishment feature in this category, along with Download IP, Best Use of a Licence or IP and Publishing Hero.

Kinect Sports (Rare), Limbo (Playdead), Enslaved (Ninja Theory), Crysis 2 (Crytek) and Bulletstorm (Epic Games/People Can Fly) grab the most nominations, but there are nods also for Angry Birds Rio (Rovio Mobile), Dead Nation (Housemarque), and Killzone 3 (Guerrilla Games).

The publisher of Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm – EA also nominated, with a nod in Publishing Hero for its EA Partners label and efforts from its Chillingo mobile games publisher.

EA’s contemporaries in that category include Namco Bandai, Channel 4, Lockwood Publishing, Microsoft, SCEE XDEV, and Valve.
