Facebook games attracting a total of more than 235 million users a month, the social networking giant has revealed.
The number of users has jumped by more than 30 million from last year, with 80 per cent of players based outside of the US.
More than 150 million people are using the recently launched App Center, whilst Facebook has claimed that users of the platform are 35 per cent more likely to return to apps than average users.
Five out of ten developers on the website are also now based in Europe, up from the one out of ten recorded last year.
“We have seen a strong level of additional installs coming in through the App Center since it went live,” said King.com CMO Alex Dale.
“The App Center is clearly key to games discovery and helps introduce Pyramid Solitaire Saga and Bubble Witch Saga to players who might not normally come across these titles. And the new players joining through the App Center channel are certainly fully engaged with both of these games.”
