Having already enjoyed success with its GAME app, retailer GAME Group has gone live with a Gamestation app for iPhone and iPod Touch.
The download gives users the ability browse through the chain’s top selling games, search for titles or even pre-order games. Screen shots, user reviews and trailers are also available, as is a store locator compatible with the iPhone’s GPS functions.
Those with an online Gamestation account can also sign-in to the app and place orders directly though their handset. All UK orders are eligible for the same free delivery found on the main website.
We know our Gamestation customers think about gaming 24/7,” the head of Gamestation’s digital team Paul Howes stated. If they have an iPhone or iPod Touch, they now they have a way to get their fix whenever they want and wherever they are.
They can use it to find the nearest Gamestation store and get their hands on what they want right there and then. Or if they can’t get to a store, they can reach for their iPhone, order away and it’ll be with them within a couple of days.”
