Herts Distribution specialist Meroncourt Europe has moved into larger premises – to allow for the next stage of expansion and development to take place.
The company will stay within Letchworth, Hertfordshire but is transferring to a larger base, which offers double the company’s current office facilities for administration and sales.
The new warehousing capacity will be quadruple the size of its old premises, as managing director Michael Mason and sales director Steve Walsh’s ambitious and aggressive expansion plans finally become a reality.
Walsh explained to MCV: Meroncourt Europe is moving towards its tenth anniversary as a specialist distributor and year-on-year we have shown growth well above the industry norm. The additional space now allows Meroncourt to move to the next phase of our expansion.
We are looking to add new brands to our distribution range and are well into negotiations with several companies where we can broaden our product portfolio, but with the same high service and quality our customers expect.”
The company will also be able to offer increased storage and fulfilment services including ‘drop shipping’ to end users.
Meroncourt also told MCV that it was close to signing a deal with a games software publisher for the first time in its history.
We are in negotiations right now,” said Walsh. Our new offices and warehouse has capacity for continuous expansion over at least the next five years.”
