Playlogic appoints new Business development Director

Dutch games publisher Playlogic has announced the appointment of Chandra Schanz as its new director of business development.

Schanz’s 28-year career has included high-profile positions at organisations including UNICEF and UNESCO. Her first job in the games industry was at German firm Topware, whom she joined in 1997 as international PR manager. She has also worked with Monolith.

Her role at Playlogic will include optimising the profitability of the company and sourcing new business opportunities.

We are very pleased to welcome Chandra. Her experience and vast network will help Playlogic bring new and existing games to a broad audience,” Playlogic CEO Rogier Smit stated.

Chandra Schanz added: I’m thrilled to be a part of the Playlogic team and I look forward to expand Playlogic’s already impressive portfolio with new exciting IP and look for new opportunities for existing titles.”
