Release date announced for Dead Island Riptide

Deep Silver has announced an April 26th 2013 release date for Dead Island Riptide in the UK.

It will be released a few days earlier on April 23rd in the US and Canada. Launch formats will be Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

The publisher has also announced two SKUs that are already available for pre-order.

The cunningly entitled Pre-Order Edition will include an exclusive pack of weapon mods that allows even more, manifold ways to dispose of the ghastly zombie hordes on Palanai island”.

The Special Retailers Edition chucks in an additional exclusive character skin and will only be available from specific retailers, the names of which will be revealed at a later date.
