Sell-out expected for Jonah Lomu Rugby

England may have been unceremoniously dumped out of the World Cup, but rugby fever continues this Friday with the release of Alternative Software’s Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge.

MCV understands that the Xbox 360 and PS3 title has seen almost its entire day one allocation accounted for by pre-orders, pointing to a strong debut for the game.

As well as featuring the officially licensed Aviva Premiership and all of the major European teams, Jonah Lomu Rugby is also the only game to feature the All Blacks and the Wallabies.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the response,” Alternative Software MD Roger Hulley said.

Our entire allocation of console stock has been snapped by stores, so for the time being, when it’s gone, it’s gone. All pre-orders have been fulfilled, and there’s more on the way – but we’re urging those who are eager to get their hands on the best rugby simulation ever to not leave it too long.”

Jonah Lomu Rgby will be released in the UK on PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday (October 14th). The PC version will arrive on October 21st.
