Survival horror game Allison Road cancelled by developer Lillith

Survival horror title Allison Road has been cancelled.

Developer Lillith announced the cancellation on Twitter, saying that a statement would be coming in the next few days.

The title was due to be published by indie label Team17. Initially the title was being crowdfunded on Kickstarter, raising 145,959 of its 250,000 with 4,482 backers.

Lillith then axed the Kickstarter and announced that it would be partnering up with Team17 to release the game.

Allison Road was a survival horror title that bore a resemblance to Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s demo for Silent Hills, PT. That game was announced at Gamescom 2014 during Sony’s press event.

The demo met with critical acclaim, but the game was cancelled by publisher Konami.
