Tarantino not interested in games

Though his gory, explicit and thoughtful directing style would produce some fascinating results in the gaming space, it looks as if Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino is unlikely to be the next big Hollywood name to try his luck at making a game.

In recent times top-level Hollywood directors such as Steven Spielberg The Lord of the Rings’ Peter Jackson have both worked in the games industry.

However, speaking to The Telegraph, Tarantino said of video games:

I cannot get myself interested in video games. I’ve been given video game players and they just sit there connected to my TVs gathering dust until eventually I unplug them so I can put in another special-region DVD player.”
