The firm tells MCV there will be a ‘large-scale online presence across all major specialist gaming websites’, such as IGN, GameSpot and VideoGamer.
A four-week radio promotion will run on rock music station Kerrang Radio, while 12-sheet posters will appear in selected London Underground stations.
Finally, window displays and in-store promotions have been arranged with High Street comic book chain Forbidden Planet.
The marketing campaign for The Darkness II has and will include a major TV investment, a large scale online presence across all major specialist gaming websites and more,” 2K’s UK marketing manager Simon Turner told MCV.
