Tiny Tower scales past 10 million downloads

Free-to-play iOS game Tiny Tower has surpassed ten million downloads since launching in June last year, developer Nimblebit has announced.

Ian Marsh, a lead developer at the California studio, said the company will give away 10 million in virtual currency to celebrate passing the milestone.

Lest week Nimblebit accused social games giant Zynga of plagiarism, after the publicly traded Facebook studio released a game with a striking resemblance to Tiny Tower.

About one million people play Tiny Tower each day, NimbleBit recently claimed.
