World Cyber Games announces its Australian events

After kicking off at AV Con (pictured) in June, Triumph Leisure Solutions (TLS) plans to carry on monthly World Cyber Games (WCG) events throughout 2011, and has big plans to carry on into the future. TLS recently announced its full list of WCG events for the remainder of the year.

Blake Harris, managing director of TLS, says: A good year of events in 2011 will go a long way to helping us win the International Final for Sydney in 2012 and if we get that, well, that’s when Australian competitive gaming takes its biggest step forward ever."

The events running from now through to the end of the year are:

Brisbane WCG event (August) – Brisbane

Melbourne WCG event (August) – Melbourne

Sydney Red Bull Qualifiers (September) – Sydney

EB Expo National Finals (October 15th – 16th)
