PlayStation Vita specs – battery lasts 3-5 hours

The battery life for the PlayStation Vita runs at between three and five hours, Sony has confirmed.

This puts it roughly on par with Nintendo’s 3DS which, in fairness, has come in for a fair amount of stick for its limited battery life.

If you’re just watching video Vita will keep going for between five and seven hours. You’ll get roughly nine hours of music playback from the unit.

The device itself will take approximately two hours and 40 minutes to charge from empty. A USB cable will be included in the box.
