Friday 1st February/... NCsoft Europe is pleased to announce that the highly anticipated retail version of Lineage II: The Chaotic Throne– The Kamael has officially released today.

To help celebrate the launch of the latest update to the phenomenally popular MMORPG, NCsoft presents an amazing new rendered movie that reveals the mysterious new player race, The Kamael, in all their one-winged glory.

The game has also received a significant technical update today to include several new Account Services and a player Referral Program.

The Account Services– which are available to all new and current Lineage II players– include a Name Change and Gender Change service, both of which go live from today, and a Character Server Transfer service, which will be made available in the coming weeks.

The player Referral Program allows current Lineage II players to invite friends to enjoy a free seven day trial of the game, with a month's free play on offer if the friend subsequently buys a new standard Lineage II account.
