SVG Distribution / Crave Entertainment Introduces Newly Appointed SVP of Content and Strategic Development
Newport Beach, Calif.- May 05, 2008 SVG Distribution / Crave Entertainment, a leading distributor and specialty publisher of console videogames, today introduced David Burchi as its new Senior Vice President of Content and Strategic Development.
In his new role, Burchi is responsible for the general management of SVG / Crave's proprietary content business, which includes both the Crave Entertainment publishing group and SVG's Exclusively Distributed content, as well as the purchasing function for SVG's non-proprietary product. Burchi reports to SVG / Crave President&CEO Michael Maas.
Burchi most recently served as vice president of strategic development for SVG / Crave, and he has held multiple positions in new media and entertainment-related ventures, including product management and development, business development, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and general management. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University, and a Juris Doctorate from The National Law Center at George Washington University.
