Logistics System enters the spotlight in Hearts of Iron III

NEW YORK– December 11th, 2008 - Paradox Interactive today unveiled the newest developer diary entry from Johan Andersson, Lead Developer on Hearts of Iron III. The new entry takes an up close examination of the logistics system and divulges new information on the combat.

Johan writes,“Probably the truest maxim in war is that amateurs study tactics and professionals study logistics. When coming to do a game of the scope of Hearts of Iron III, we knew that logistics would have to be one of the key constraints on your actions. However, at the same time, we aren’t making World War II Logistics Manager: Deliver Shells for the Fatherland, so although it should be important, we felt that it should not be the be all and end all of the game.”
