UK-based Worldweaver to provide better access to its 3D engine

DX Studio to release engine source code

The source code to 3D engine DX Studio is to be made available to corporate licensees.

Worldweaver, creator of the platform, will package access under it new DX Studio Corporate Licence.

Corporate licenses will cost £50,000 and include unlimited copies of DX Studio Pro Edition for use by the individual company and one year of source and binary updates to the latest edition.

“The new Corporate Site Licence has primarily been launched in response to a growing demand from existing clients wishing to customize or tweak the engine, port to other platforms, and implement custom security,” explained CEO and founder Chris Sterling.

"We also believe that full access to the source code opens up DX Studio’s potential to a number of new gaming and simulation customers."
