Milton Keynes, July 21st– 505 Games today proudly announced it is publishing the latest entry in the hugely successful Cooking Mama series in Europe. Developed by Cooking Mama Limited, Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen on Wii features hot new recipes and all-new 3D graphics; a first for the franchise.

In Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen, players use the motion-sensitive Wii Remote to cook a variety of recipes by simulating the actions of a real-life chef. Whether you’re making parfait or shrimp au gratin, expect plenty of chopping, grating, slicing and frying. But don’t worry if you make a mistake because Mama’s there to help in brand new mini-games that see players using the Wii Remote in different action-packed ways, like dashing from side to side catching burgers in Mama’s apron.

“Cooking Mama has been a phenomenal success in Europe and we’re delighted to be publishing Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen,” said Ian Howe, Managing Director, 505 Games.“The franchise has proved a tremendous hit with the ever-growing Wii market and we fully expect Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen to build on previous successes.”

Cooking Mama 2: World Kitchen will be available in Europe exclusively on Wii in 2009.
