AdventureQuest Worlds: Chaos Lord Live Event with Musical Guest One-Eyed Doll

LAND O’LAKES, FLORIDA– June 24, 2010– Artix Entertainment, the independent game development studio that runs the download-free browser-based MMO AdventureQuest Worlds, is hosting a one-of-a-kind Live Event this Friday, June 25th. Starting at 8pm EST, the first-ever Live Chaos Lord battle will commence as the servers flood (and possibly crash) with 15 million users as they team-up with the Punk Rock band, One-Eyed Doll!

This is the grand finale to AdventureQuest Worlds’ latest storyline, Mythsong Canyon. As a literal battle of the bands, the time has come to join the thousands of One-Eyed Doll roadies in order to take down the ultimate world boss, Chaos Lord Discordia! There will be Rare Event item prizes and upgraded Members will even get a backstage pass for after the show!

“The last time we did an event of this size we crashed our entire game network,” says Game Master Artix.“We are hoping for an upgrade from crashing to full out explosions for THIS show!”

The Story Thus Far…

All of the greatest bands in AQWorlds have gathered for the most incredible concert of all time: Lorestockapalooza! Well… that was the plan until all the bands suddenly disappeared. We suspect this is the handiwork of Chaos Lord Discordia. Or perhaps the Bands have become the main course for his Chaos Beast (every Chaos Lord so far has had a super overpowered monster beast)? So now we are traveling to Lorestockapalooza to face (or, more appropriately, un-mask) this powerful new foe in his Opera fortress!

Luckily for us, one band got left out—but certainly not forgotten! Meet Kimberly Freeman, the lead singer from the Punk Rock band One-Eyed Doll! Armed with her guitar, sweet voice, and killer jams, she and her band mates will be singing and cheering the players to victory against the most unpredictable Chaos Lord battle to date.

Remember…. this is a Live Event, so anything can—and most certainly will—happen! For a week after the event, the epic conclusion will be available to players who missed the show in a special“re-run” mode.

Join us this Friday, June 25th at 8pm EST at AQ.com to become part of AdventureQuest Worlds’ history (and show-off your epic Event Rares) in our first ever Live Chaos Lord Event!
