Aeria Games Europe, having established itself as a major player in the European F2P arena, is now on target to replicate this success in the mobile market.

The company’s first mobile release in Germany, Monster Paradise (which was already available in the US) was launched for iOS on 12 th August and for Android on 30 th of August. Monster Paradise casts the player in the role of monster trainer and there are over 500 monsters on offer. The ultimate goal is to battle the Dark Monsters with friends.

The format proved an instant hit with German gamers. One day after launch Monster Paradise was No 3 in the App store games section, 6 th most downloaded and No 1 in both the role play and strategy sections. It is currently No 8 overall in the German App store.

It also surpassed expectations in terms of performance with downloads in excess of 150,00 and monetisation around 60 cents per DAU ( which is on a par with some F2P Aeria Games).

Aeria is keen to build on this strong start with plans to release a French version of Monster Paradise later on this year . There are plans for second mobile release Immortalis, a fantasy style hard core card trading game later this year

Commenting on the success of Monster Paradise, Aeria Europe CEO Dr Pascal Zuta said, “Moving into the mobile market is Aeria’s most important strategic initiative to date.  Prior to Monster Paradise’s launch, it was a commonly held belief that it was virtually impossible to monetise mobile. However we are extremely encouraged by Monster Paradise’s performance in Germany and plan much more activity in mobile games over the next few months. Aeria Europe has established itself as one of the top five players in the European F2P market over the past three years now our ambitions are to match that standing in the mobile market.”
