Aeria Games Donates to Save Abandoned Alpacas
Eden Eternal Community Helps Feed Abandoned Alpacas
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Sept. 2, 2011 – Aeria Games, a leading global publisher of free-to-play online games, have led efforts along with its large community in one of its newest MMORPG’s, Eden Eternal, to raise enough feed for a month for 50 alpacas who were abandoned with farm owner, Sheryl Hudson.
Hudson, a Clements, Calif. resident has been caring for the alpacas since January of this year and has already put money out of her pocket to take care of the alpacas. Hudson was left to take care of the alpacas by an alpaca dealer who needed to house them temporarily.
“For just two months. She was supposed to come out and feed them, supply the hay and take care of them,” Hudson told CBS Sacramento.
Virtual pet food for the alpacas was used as the item sold in-game in raising enough feed to help abandoned alpacas. With the help of the Eden Eternal community they have given Hudson more time to be able to take care of the alpacas.
