AggreGame.com is proud to announce their recent release of a unique video featuring select statistics for the electronic entertainment industry while celebrating and highlighting some important milestones experienced in 2010. Coining the phrase "FanStatistical", which could be“statistics for fans”, or“fantastic statistical”, seems to embody the early response the video is receiving from the gaming community.
AG Labs, a division of AggreGame.com that focuses on research, development, and marketing analytics, produced this video to summarize a year's worth of video game industry consumer trends in a visually entertaining and thought provoking fashion. The video reveals a number of 2010 industry metrics ranging from video game sales, piracy figures, Twitter trends, and major industry headlines from 2010.
"Our research continues to uncover a tremendous amount of interesting and valuable data on the gaming industry", said Gregg Olin, co-founder and President of AggreGame.com, "but as interesting as the data is to an analyst or marketer, we wanted to do something special for the gamers, since it is their collective voice that matters. We hope this video provides gamers with a fun way to learn some interesting facts about our industry."
The video is comprised largely of Twitter statistics, gathered by AggreTweet.com, an AG Labs product powered by the Twitter Streaming API. "AggreTweet has a web front-end that provides gamers a real-time look at gaming trends", Olin continues, "and we developed a suite of proprietary tools that allow us to mine Twitter data a bit more successfully than most.”
