NCsoft is excited to announce that the Aion 2.5 update, Empyrean Calling, will go live on European servers on 25th May, 2011. New instances, quests, and graphical enhancements will deliver a steady course of content, while a new mentoring system will help veteran and low-level character alike on their journeys. The update also features an improved graphics engine, new characters customisation options, new pets with special capabilities and more. The Public Test Server (PTS) will go live on live on 12th May, allowing a sneak peak of the new 2.5 update– there will be an full 2.5 PTS client available for download and players who already have one will be able to start an incremental download from 5th May.
