AniMinneapolis Announces Location and Dates in July 2011

Minneapolis, MN - January 1, 2011 - The organizers of AniMinneapolis are excited to announce that the first ever AniMinneapolis anime convention will be held July 8-10, 2011 at The Northland Inn in Minneapolis, MN. Early pre-registration for AniMinneapolis is only $20, and can be found online at http://www.animinneapolis.com

AniMinneapolis is an exciting three-day anime convention organized in Minneapolis, MN. Featured activities will include a cosplay masquerade, cosplay photoshoots, an awesome rave dance, and more. The convention will also feature anime screenings in the convention center's amphitheater.

Other events will include panels, game shows, board games, video games, a hall cosplay contest, and much more. The convention will also feature a dealer's room and an artist alley. The convention's guests of honor will be announced within the new few months.

Early pre-registration is only $20 until March 20th, 2011. Standard pre-registration increases to $25 for the whole weekend until May 20th, 2011. At the door registration will be $35 for the whole weekend. Single day badges at the door will be $25, which can be upgraded to a full weekend pass for $10 more.

All hotel rooms are multi-room suites. As a special rate for convention attendees they are only $99 per night.
