Montreuil (France), April 20th, 2012. French software publisher Anuman Interactive has used the change in Facebook page formats as an opportunity to open a new online store for its Microïds brand.
Since early 2010, there has been a “Microïds Official” page on Facebook for video adventure games enthusiasts. The “Microïds Official” page brings fans première coverage of the very latest brand news, exclusive competitions, and the chance to share news and views about Microïds games.
The page contents will evolve to take full advantage of the new Facebook format. It’s already revealing to users the world of Microïds adventure games graphics – artwork, wallpapers, screenshots, and more besides.
And this format change is Anuman Interactive’s chance to usher in its new online store on Facebook.
As Anuman Interactive’s Assistant Managing Director Sandra Ragobert points out: “We’re aware of the potential of social networks, and particularly of Facebook. The Microïds community needed a page where it could come together. That was the idea that prompted us to create the “Microïds Official” page two years ago. Today we’re going a step further with our online store. It will offer a selection of iconic titles that give adventure games fans a chance to discover or rediscover some of our finest games like Amerzone, Syberia, Dracula or Still Life. Some twenty games are already available. The offer will evolve, of course, and we would like fans to give us their comments so that we make changes that meet their expectations.”
Gamers please note that the Microïds store has been accessible on Facebook (and through the official Microids.com website) since few days in a multilingual version (French, English, Spanish).
