Long Island, NY– June 21, 2007– Digital Media Workshop, Inc. is pleased to announce that award-winning producer and composer Tom Griffith has signed on to work on the music production and sound design for the upcoming science-fiction adventure game, Prominence.
With over forty years of musical experience, Tom has worked on a wide range of projects from film and video scores to jingles and commercial work, including the Clio award winning campaigns for Miller Genuine Draft's "It's As Real As It Gets" and Xerox's "Revolution" with The Art of Noise. He received a Cannes Silver Lion for his work on Hyundai's debut campaign, "Cars That Make Sense", and his music has appeared in several films including Night of the Creeps, Caught in the Crossfire, and The Key. In 2004, Tom released The Web of Life, an album of educational songs that has since become a favorite learning tool in classrooms across the country. His latest CD, Forty Years Later, is a musical look at the past forty years of life as a baby boomer.
"Tom's unique range of work and talent will bring the soundtrack for Prominence to a new level," says Mike Morrison, President, Digital Media Workshop, Inc. With a highly immersive setting and first person viewpoint, Prominence is a point-and-click science-fiction adventure that will offer players a chance to explore and discover the secrets behind a unique and mysterious high-tech facility. Featuring 360-degree panoramic environments, a combination of inventory and interactive puzzles, a branching storyline, professional voice-acting, and much more, the game is currently scheduled for release in 2008.
