Battle Dungeon Rises From The Ashes

Elgin, Scotland. April 1st 2013. Hunted Cow announce the return of Battle Dungeon to the App Store after its untimely demise.

Battle Dungeon has risen from the ashes in the form of a challenging single player turn-based tactical strategy game titled Battle Dungeon: Risen, which is available now and has reached the top 10 in the iPad Role Playing charts in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden and New Zealand.

Battle Dungeon: Risen features the same sophisticated strategy gaming of its previous incarnation with players able to build a party of warriors, archers and priests to battle and play through 12 challenging scenarios.

The three character classes each have three weapon types and two unique abilities per type, allowing the player to refine their style of play. Players can use priests to freeze their enemies in place, while their warriors advance to strike them with devastating blows.

As players advance through the scenarios, their characters gain experience and gold which can be used to buy new equipment and improve attributes such as Accuracy, Sorcery and Stealth. The In-App purchases from the original game have also been removed, making playing through the game the only way of earning gold.

Andrew Mulholland, co-founder and CEO of Hunted Cow said, “The team is delighted to see the return of Battle Dungeon to the App Store. We’ve spent the extra development time polishing and improving the game which can be seen with the additional lighting work on the environments.”

Battle Dungeon: Risen is available for the iPhone, iPad and iPod now for an introductory price of $1.99.
