LOS ANGELES, CA – September 8, 2011 – Beeline Interactive, Inc., a leading publisher and developer of social games for smartphones, today released “ Monster Pet Shop” on Apple’s App Store. In the game, players run a shop that grows, exhibits, and sells fantastic magical creatures. Each type of monster likes different things and it’s up to the player to figure out the best way to keep their monsters healthy and happy by petting, playing with and feeding their monsters.
Monsters in the game are divided into three different categories – Dirt, Grass and Water. There are 25 different types of monsters in the game, each with four different variants for a total of 100 different monsters. To unlock different monsters players can visit their friends’ shops to unlock new monster eggs or buy new eggs outright. Players can also breed their monsters to ensure a constant inventory of new eggs and baby monsters.
Running a monster pet shop isn’t just about playing with adorable critters. Players will have to manage their monster inventory by balancing the number of monsters and eggs they keep in stock within the incubator and habitats.
