PubPlay: Drinking Games and Dash’s Family Photo Face Off – Out Now for iOS
Farnborough, Hampshire – 1st August 2013
nDreams today announces the release of its debut iOS games – PubPlay: Drinking Games and Dash’s Family Photo Face-Off, available now in the App Store. Both games are designed for groups of people to play together socially around a single phone.
nDreams, best known for their work on the PlayStation®Home platform are taking a step into the wild jungle of mobile development. With two titles being released, PubPlay and Dash’s Family Photo Face-Off, nDreams are offering experiences that will appeal to everyone, whether you are looking for a game to play with your family, or something to turn that pub trip with your friends into something more… well…. disorderly.
Patrick O’Luanaigh, CEO of nDreams, said “We’re expanding onto a variety of digital platforms, and these two games are our first foray onto iOS. Not only are they great, fun social games designed for group-play around a single device, but they are also fantastic experiments for us, to try out a range of different strategies. PubPlay is free to download, so please give it a try next time you go out for a drink. And Dash’s Family Photo Face-Off is a perfect time-filler that a family can play together for a minute or an hour.”
With two experimental games aimed at different audiences and using different monetisation models, nDreams are gathering vital data to help shape development of future titles.
“Acquisition, retention and monetisation are the three key elements to mobile gaming and free-to-play and paid apps require different strategies for all three. These games will allow us to experiment, and help shape the development of future titles.” said Joe Dale, Digital Product Manager at nDreams.
