Big Ideas Digital launches Charity update for ‘Say What You See’

Say What You See: The Collection, the hugely popular iPhone game, today launched a special charity update in aid of Grace Windram, who has been diagnosed with Spastic Dyplegic cerebral palsy.

In 2006, Grace Windram, was born several months prematurely. Her illness affects the tone in her legs and arms and her core muscles, affecting her muscle control and balance, her muscles in her mouth and tongue. Today, Grace can’t walk. But she’s been accepted for an operation in the USA at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The operation is called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, and it would remove the tightness in her legs, meaning that with physiotherapy, she will be able to walk tomorrow. Grace’s parents, Gavin and Helen Windram, need to raise £50,000 for the operation. They’ve already raised £1000, but they need help to raise the rest.

Touched by Grace’s story, Big Ideas Digital have created a special Say What You See canvas just for Grace. ‘Grace’s Toons’, launched today, sees players trying to spot and unravel 50 well-known cartoon names in a Road-runner-esque backdrop. All of the proceeds from this canvas will be donated to Grace’s Fund, which is being run by Tree of Hope Children’s Charity (reg. no. 1043092). All the proceeds of this fund will go towards the operation, and her subsequent physiotherapy.

Users of the app will also have the chance to make a further donation to Grace’s fund if they wish, via her Just giving page ( We’re hoping that we can help Gavin and Helen reach their target and give Grace a life changing operation. Grace loves cartoons – but please help us show her that dreams come true in real life too.

Say What You See: The Collection, sees players working their way through a virtual canvas of Pictionary- style visual puzzles, based on a particular genre, with several incarnations including Horror Films, Classic Arcade Games and Super Heroes, and has been described as “ of the best visual puzzle games available for iOS devices” by MSN.
