EvolvingPoet Media just announced their upcoming game, Bide! For a bunch of info, you can look at the Bide press release. It is classic platformer with 5 worlds, a few bosses, death pits, path walking enemies and all of the traditional things that you’ve come to love in a platforming game, with a few odd tweaks and the dark undertones that they are becoming known for. In Bide, you will experience time warps, deal with a fear of hospitals, become a cheetah (and a bulldozer!), face a child’s fears, and battle against some odd bosses. Complete with rockets, needle projectiles, giant scissors, and an adorable robot companion, Bide is sure to be a fun/slightly depressing experience. Plus it has an awesome soundtrack and some super-cute graphics.
Bide will be available for PC on its launch (with a release date of July 19th currently), and will have a linux port available shortly after. You will be able to find it on EvolvingPoet's indie game store, as well as a few other places (which will be posted to their site as they are confirmed). Bide is looking to have a $4 price point from their site (other sites might have slightly different pricing though).
