Brasil Game Show (BGS) officialized partnership with GfK

With research operations in more than 100 countries, GfK already operates in the market for more than 70 years. According to the 9th GfK Brazil Conference, held this year, the software sale (games for consoles) in 2012 in the country grew by 99% in units compared to 2011. The hardware sale was also highlighted in the Brazilian market, which presented the highest increase among the analyzed countries in 2012, with a 43% increase over the previous year. According to this study, game prices in Brazil had a considerable reduction, and they are similar to the values practiced in Europe.

Due to the partnership with Brasil Game Show, which will take place from October 25th to 29th, at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, from now on, the information used by BGS about the Gaming Market will be provided by GfK, which will also have a booth at the Business area of the Event and a Press Conference on October 24th, which will reveal information about the Brazilian Market performance in the coming months.
