Boston, Ma (September 25, 2012) Want to try out a dual screen console before the Wii-U comes out? No need to wait in line or shell out any cash.
The browser based console, Brass Monkey, is about to see a massive growth in content and an evolutionary leap forward into the games community thanks to a partnership with UK game developer and web portal Nitrome.
30 Nitrome games will soon be available on Brass Monkey’s site and a version of Brass Monkey’s controller app called “Touchy” will soon be available for use on Nitrome.com. The initial launch of Touchy will allow users on the site to play 10 new games, and over the next months an additional 20 Nitrome games will be added for Touchy and Brass Monkey.
The launch games will be announced in the coming weeks- in the meantime Nitrome has released footage of its retro beat’em up “Double Edged” being played as a 4 player game.
